With voting day hours away President Obama and
Governor Romney focused their remaining energy on swing states and get-out-the-vote
efforts.
The Los Angeles Times, New York Times, and Washington Post all reported that Obama held his last campaign efforts in Ohio,
Wisconsin and Iowa. Romney held his rallies in Florida, Ohio, Virginia, and
New Hampshire; also planning to campaign on Election Day in Pennsylvania
and Ohio.
The Washington Post and New York Times claimed
that provisional ballots in Florida, Ohio and Iowa may become a problem. The
election boards have 10 days after the election to decide if these
ballots are acceptable, possibly prolonging the election results.
The New York Times told of Obama campaign aides
predicting if Obama wins Ohio, it will guarantee his second term.
As for Mitt Romney, The Washington Post believes
Florida is his key to victory; hopes are high with a recent poll showing a five point lead.
