With the 2012 election now over, newly re-elected President Obama prepares for his next four years in office.  The President spent the majority of his day with supporters in Chicago before heading back to the White House in Washington.

It is now time for President Obama to get back to business and start looking at what he plans to do for America in the next four years.  The Los Angeles Times, New York Times and Washington Post all published articles about how the newly re-elected president spent his first day after the election, and what his plans are for the next four years.

The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times both wrote about what the president did on his first day after such a stressful campaign.  The New York Times went into depth about the future of America and the potential future plans that President Obama may have in store.  "We’re ready to be led — not as Democrats or Republicans, but as Americans. We want you to lead, not as a liberal or a conservative, but as president of the United States of America.” -John A. Boehner (New York Times)

The Washington Post wrote more about the issues that Obama will be dealing with now that he has been re-elected.  Now that Obama has four more years in office he will have the opportunity to change the was his administration operates and expand the agenda it pursues.
