President Obama returned to the campaign trail Thursday after tending to the hurricane ravaged east coast, said the Washington Post.

The Los Angeles Times covered the the campaign focus on Ohio in similar fashion. “They’re (my team) going to make sure we win, and Ohio is the center place,” Romney said.
Meanwhile, a wave of last-minute political spending and advertising has flooded the trail, coming from newly established unknown super-PACs, according to the New York Times. The newly formed groups are exploiting a loophole which will keep their donors anonymous. “We just didn’t want to telegraph in advance our strategy and tactics,” said a member of one advocacy organization.
